The door should now open and you can waddle through it. Then use right click to aim at the target and left click to shoot. To get your gun out, either scroll mousewheel or press 1 to grab it. To knock him out, just use your flappers and hit the guard by pressing either Q/E or using left click and right click on your mouse. The tutorial guard will have an indicator above his head but is not going to attack you, so you can easily send him to sleep. A red ! indicates that they saw you/know where you are and starting to attack. A yellow ? will mean that they are suspicious about you and your actions and are coming to investigate. As soon as you enter the room, and the guard sees you, he will have indicators above his head.

To move the boxes away, get closer to one and hold left click of your mouse to drag it away. Move to the other side of the room to reach the door which is blocked by boxes.
